How to Sell Fish

Two ways to cash in your catch: sell straight to the shop, or gut fish for extra entropy instead.

Selling at the Fish Shop

The simplest option — run /fish shop to sell whatever's in your inventory for its base price.

Fish Scales — risk it for more

Open /fish scales (or through the main menu), drag fish into the GUI, pick a scale type — Low, Medium, High, or Extreme — and press the anvil. Your fish gets a random weight tied directly to a percentage price swing, up or down, off its normal sell price.

• Stack fish into one slot and they all scale together for the same result; split them into separate slots to risk each one individually.
• Scaled fish don't count toward the shop's "special fish" bonus payout.

Gutting for Entropy

Gutting trades a fish for pure entropy — less than you'd get catching an equivalent fish fresh, but a useful top-up. Run /fish gut or open the Gutting Station from the main menu, drag fish in, and close the menu to gut them. It's one-way — there's no undoing a gut once it's done, and you only ever get entropy back, never items.

The Precision Cutting augment and the Better Gutting fishing skill both boost gutting income — they don't stack with each other, so pick one.
